Catalina Dressing

I love making salads and dressings to go with them, especially in the summer time when the motivation to cook is low!  This loaded salad, with brown rice, smoked chicken, cucumber, peppers, avocado, scapes, basil, jicama, cashews, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, feta amd lettuce needed a fun new dressing. I had never had Catalina dressing so I was instantly sold on it. It’s tangy, slightly sweet and delicious! Check out the recipe below!


1/2C. Ketchup  (I used Heinz Organic from Costco)

1/2 C. Canola Oil

2 Tbs. Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tbs. Agave

1/2 tsp. Onion powder

2 tsp. Smoked Paprika

1 tsp. Salt

2 Tbs. Lemon juice

1/4 tsp. Celery seed, ground up


Add everything into a jar with lid, and shake vigorously until mixed. Enjoy!
