Fresh Tomatillo Salsa!

In our CSA last week we got the farmer/chefs tomatillo salsa mix. A bag full of tomatillos, onions, and Serrano chiles! All I needed to add to it was, garlic, cilantro, salt and lime juice.

It’s pretty easy to prepare, given it’s a fresh salsa. Quarter the tomatillos and onion and chop the Serrano’s, add a few cloves of garlic, 1/2-1C. fresh cilantro and place everything in a food processor. Use the salt and lime juice to taste. Give it a few pulses and then run it on low speed until you have a slightly coarse purée!

*I used only one onion, and two of the chilies (they are spicy!)
