Super Moist Brownies



1/2 C. Sugar

2 Tbs. Butter

2 Tbs. Water

1 1/2C. Semisweet   Chocolate Chips

2 Eggs

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

2/3 C. Whole Wheat Pastry Flour (or all-purpose)

1/4 tsp. Baking Soda

1/2 tsp. Salt

1/4 C. Semisweet Chocolate Chips rolled in 1 tsp. of Flour


Preheat oven to 325 F. and grease an 8×8 inch square pan

In a medium sauce pan bring sugar, butter and water to boil, then remove from heat, add chocolate chips stirring until smooth; allow to cool. Add eggs and vanilla to cooled chocolate mixture. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients and add to liquid mixture. Spread evenly into prepared dish. Spread remaining chocolate chips across the top of the batter. Bake for approx. 25-30 min, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean/dry crumbs. The key is to not over bake them!


They were so good, I had to sneak a little with my morning tea!
